Come and sing! 33 choir and solo songs is a resource for singers, voice pedagogues, conductors and ensemble leaders and is well suited for children, adolescents and adults. The book contains canons, two- three- and four-part arrangements, and solo songs that can also function as unison ensemble songs.

The songs can be used to get going when a quick warm-up is needed, as gathering-songs or as songs to aid in tuning an ensemble. They can form a bridge between more traditional vocal exercises and the repertoire at hand. They can even serve as songs to tune into a particular genre. Inspiration for the content of this book is taken from a variety of cultures and contains features of gospel, soul, classical, beat-boxing, body-percussion, rap, jazz and folklore.

Most of the songs include accompaniment, while some are intended to be sung a cappella. The songs are published in several suitable keys and their degree of difficulty varies greatly, ranging from very simple to fairly advanced. Each song has an associated instruction with suggestions on how to work.
